COLUMBUS, Miss. – Artwork by four Mississippi University for Women alumni will be showcased at the Rosenzweig Arts Center the entire month of May.
The exhibit titled “Started from the Pixel Now We’re Here” will include mixed media and digital pieces by graduates Nick Adams ’07 of Ethel; and Jonathan Cumberland ’09, Blaine Garrard, who will graduate in May, and Hayley Gilmore ’08, all of Columbus. Both Adams and Cumberland currently work at The W. Adams is the university’s graphic artist, and Cumberland is assistant professor of art. Gilmore is employed at Mississippi State University as a graphic designer. Students, faculty, staff, alumni and the community are invited to the opening reception that will be held Thursday, May 1 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. It is free and open to the public.The RAC is located in downtown Columbus and is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information about the center, call (662) 328-2787 or visit http://www.columbus-arts.org/.
