Matching Donations

Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions made by their employees. Find out if your company has a matching gift policy by using our matching-gift search tool.

If your company is eligible, request a matching gift form from your employer, and send it completed and signed with your gift. We will do the rest. The impact of your gift to our school may be doubled or possibly tripled! Some companies match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses.

Annual Giving: MUW Students

Telefund

Welcome MUW Telefund. We look forward to talking with you!

Mississippi University for Women has opened a renovated call center featuring state-of-the-art calling stations with the intent of keeping in touch with all of our alumni throughout the nation.

The Telefund mission is to contact all alumni once a year to update their records, offer invitations to campus events, answer questions about the University, thank past donors for their on-going commitment to MUW and ask that each alumna or alumnus make a yearly gift in support of the The W Fund.

With new encryption technology, well-trained Telefund Ambassadors can now take credit card gifts using American Express, MasterCard and Visa directly over the phone effectively reducing postage and administrative costs for both donors and the University. Plus, alumni now have the opportunity to select their choice of fund designation regardless of a preference to give to the unrestricted The W Fund or a restricted fund such as a Class Scholarship, named endowment, or social club scholarship.

Students interested in working as a Telefund Ambassador, please complete this application.

Class Agents

MUW Class Agents are liaisons between their graduating class and the University. Our class agents encourage their classmates to stay connected with MUW, attend reunions, and give yearly through The W Fund contributions, planned gifts or volunteerism. If you are interested in reconnecting with friends while helping the strength of MUW, contact Brandy Williams at 662-329-7151 or via This email address is being protected from spambots. Annual Giving: Faculty & Staff

Be part of of the legacy!

Faculty and Staff are invited to participate in MUW’s 2012-2013 Faculty and Staff Campaign. Make an impact in your campus community and help make an MUW education possible for deserving students. Be part of it this year because your support is critical to the mission of this institution. There are many projects, programs, and opportunities that cannot succeed without YOUR help!

Each gift to The W Fund is a significant step toward strengthening our University community.

What is The W Fund?

  • Provides MUW with immediate funding for items and programs that are not covered by tuition and state appropriations.
  • Scholarship aid, admissions support, and general unrestricted funding critical to the well-being of MUW.

Why Should I Give to MUW?

You give so much every day to MUW in your respective position. By making a voluntary philanthropic contribution, you are strengthening our university and ensuring educational opportunities for our current and future students. Your support also reflects the importance of MUW.

What's in it for Me?

  • Each office/department with 100% participation will receive a bakery style breakfast.
  • Every faculty and staff member making a $40 or more gift to the MUW Foundation will receive an MUW umbrella.

Also, if you’re a MUW alum, a gift of $40 or more makes you an eligible voting member of the MUWAA. Now is the perfect time to make your gift to the MUW Foundation. To be eligible for prizes, gifts must be made by September 17 (bank draft and payroll deductions total yearly amount will qualify if made by deadline).
