Child & Parent Development Center

The Child and Parent Development Center (CPDC) is a child care and education center for children ages 1-4 years old, under the auspices of the College of Education and Human Sciences. The center is located on campus in the Education and Human Sciences Building and operates as a service to MUW and the Columbus community, providing quality care and educational experiences for young children. The CPDC operates on the university calendar and is open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. each day. For further details, contact the CPDC Director, Mrs. Susan Kling at 329-7196.

The Campus Health Center, located in Eckford Building, provides walk-in care to the campus community. No fee is charged for routine visits to the Health Center, though there is a nominal charge for medications, supplies and complete physical exams.

The Center, located on the of Eckford Building, is administered by the Dean of the College of Nursing & Speech-Language Pathology. It is staffed by Nurse Practitioners. The Nurse Practitioners are master's level registered nurses who in their expanded role are licensed to diagnose and treat many common conditions.

The services and facilities provided by Campus Recreation are free for any benefits eligible faculty or staff member.  Supplementary membership opportunities for family members are available for an additional fee.

The Stark Recreation Center includes: a weight training center; indoor racquetball, volleyball, and basketball courts; an elevated walking track; spinning cave; aerobics studio (all classes included in membership; regulation-length natatorium.
