The W Leadership Program

The W Leadership Program at MUW is a rich and academically challenging leadership program. The program teaches students the commitment, knowledge, and values that will enable them to blaze new trails in their chosen paths. The program prepares students to become tomorrow's leaders by focusing on scholarship, leadership development, and community service.

Academically, students develop self-knowledge, self-discipline, initiative, and teamwork. Leadership skills are developed through monthly events that highlight components of leadership. Lastly, leadership scholars participate in numerous community service projects that qualify our leaders to positively impact the workplace and the world around them.

Retreat: Sunday, August 30th from 1-10 PM (Hogarth Student Center)

New and continuing leadership students learn about the upcoming events, network with each other, and gain valuable information for the year.

Life After College: Tuesday, September 8 from 5-6 PM (Location TBA)

We will discuss what to expect after graduation, from paying for graduate school and personal finances to building a resume reflective of your leadership roles.

Water Day: Monday, September 21 from 1-6 PM (Location TBA)

         Social event open to all of campus.

Stress Relief Event: Tuesday, October 6 from 7-9 PM (Location TBA)

 Social event open to all of campus.

Haunted House: October 29, 30, 31 from 8-11 PM in Hogarth Student Center

Tickets $4 per person, and this student organization will also donate a portion of proceeds to the Columbus Lowndes Humane Society.

Power & Privilege Exercise: November 5 from 6-8 PM (Location TBA)
