Homecoming Parade and Bonfire

HomecomingCelebrate Homecoming 2013 with the students of The W! The Student Programming Board will host a parade and bonfire Thursday night on The W campus. The parade starts at 7:00 p.m.

The parade will start at the front gates of the university. The route runs down Serenade Drive to Welty Drive, where it will turn on to Ginkgo Place.  The parade turns right on Zouave, and then onto Serenade.  The parade turns east on Serenade at Fifth Avenue South (in front of the Fant Memorial Library) to MUW Drive.  The parade will turn east at MUW Drive and Sixth Avenue South, cross the railroad tracks and end at the Mud Volleyball Pit (near the old Magnolia Hall Dormitory lot).

Students from organizations on campus will participate in the parade with floats and banners.

The Homecoming Bonfire will take place in the Mud Volleyball Pit on south campus, immediately following the parade.
