Mail Services oversees the operation and distribution of the University’s mailing services to benefit the administration, faculty, staff, students and surrounding community. Mail Services can't be held responsible for lost mail/packages that were never received at the campus post office, but we can assure you all mail received will be distributed as quickly as possible.

*The Box Number is the most important part of the address. Without this number there is an increase in the time to look up each and every box number for mail that comes in. This problem causes a delay in the processing of your incoming mail.
Price of Postage
The price for First-Class Mail single-piece letters increased to .49 cents on January 26, 2014. Forever stamps are always good for mailing a one-ounce letter anytime in the future regardless of price changes. Forever stamps will allow customers to mail letters to any location in the United States. Highlights of the new single-piece First-Class Mail pricing include:
Letters (1oz.) - 1-cent increase to 49 cents
Letters additional ounces - 1-cent increase to 21 cents
Letters to all international destinations (1 oz.) - $1.15
Postcards - 1-cent increase to 34 cents
A large variety of flat-rate boxes and envelopes for Priority Mail, including legal-sized flat rate envelopes will continue to be offered by the campus post office.
New domestic retail pricing for Priority Mail Flat Rate products include:

Campus Mail Services (very limited)
Please be reminded the campus mail services are very limited. You may purchase postage stamps, mail first class items, and mail items using Priority Mail. However, for special mail services such as delivery confirmation, mail insurance, international mail, signature confirmation, certified mail, express mail, registered mail, certified mail, return receipt, etc., you may visit the nearest post office located downtown on Main Street or you may visit http://www.usps.com/. We apologize the campus post office is no longer authorized to provide these services. NOTE: Procurement cards can be used to pay for special mail services.
When Express Mail is received at Bluecutt General Mail Facility, it is stamped with Angenette Frazier's signature, not her actual signature as she is not a Bluecutt employee. Once the Express Mail arrives on campus, post office personnel and the driver confirm the mail. It is then logged in a book and depending on the size, placed in the appropriate box. If the item is too large, a package pick up slip is put in the appropriate box.
Tracking mail/packages can confirm when the package has left Bluecutt, however, there is no way to track packages from Bluecutt to MUW. We rely on a driver (who has several stops) to deliver all mail/packages. Once the mail reaches the campus post office, it is distributed upon arrival. Mail Services can't be held responsible for lost mail/packages that were never received at the campus post office, but we can assure you all mail received will be distributed as quickly as possible.
As the holidays approach and online shopping is more prevalent, we strongly encourage you to purchase liability insurance for your packages. If your package value is $0.01 to $50, you may purchase insurance for $2.10. If your package value is $50.01 to $100, the insurance is $2.60.
