What is Supplemental Instruction?
Supplemental Instruction (SI) is a FREE academic program that The W began in fall 2015 designed to assist students succeed in historically difficult courses. The peer-assisted study session does not replace class lectures. Since its introduction on campus, students who regularly attend five or more SI sessions generally receive a half to whole letter grade higher.

What happens at an SI session?
In a typical session, students compare notes, discuss important ideas, prepare for upcoming quizzes and exams and develop study strategies. Activities and games are designed to help students become successful.
