Social Clubs & Greek Life

Social organizations provides a loyal and supportive community in which students can cultivate new leadership skills, academic discipline, event planning, financial responsibility, and social networking skills. The W offers a variety of Social Club and Greek Life opportunities for students. 


National Greek Organizations

National Greek Organizations have a rich history and members can be found throughout the world. Four of the Divine Nine National Pan-Hellenic sororities and fraternities can be found on the W campus. These chapters conduct membership intake at various times throughout the year, and each has a process specific to their own organization. The national Greek organizations are governed by the National Pan-Hellenic Council.

Local Social Organizations

Local social organizations are unique to the W campus, and each organization has a character of its own, which can be seen through a variety of campus activities each year. The local Greek organizations are governed by the Local Greek Council, the 4-Year Social Clubs are governed by Interclub, and 2-Year Honorary Social Clubs are governed by the 2-Year Council. Each governing body assists with the educational and recruitment process for the specific groups. While most conduct a formal Rush or Recruitment process, the 2-Year organizations are by invitation only.
