Five Payments due to MUW Ireland Study Abroad account by 4:30 pm on these dates:

  • Monday, December 2, 2013: $250*
  • Friday, January 31, 2014: $1000*
  • Friday, February 28, 2014: $1250, proof of passport also due on this date
  • Monday, March 31, 2014: $1250
  • Wednesday, April 30, 2014: $1250**

You must show us proof that you hold a valid passport by February 28, 2014 by giving us a clear photocopy of the personal information pages of your passport. Details on how to apply for a passport are included on this page. Remember, it takes 6-8 weeks to process a request.

*Your first two payments include a non-refundable portion of $500
**This last payment is an estimate and could go slightly up or down. We will let you know for certain asap.

Trip Details:

Dates: Planned for May 28-June 29, 2014, might bump 1-2 days in either direction for a flight deal

Location: Dublin and Galway, Ireland

Courses: Two 3-credit courses taught for MUW academic credit by MUW faculty

EN 299 Special Topics: "Finding Ireland" with Dr. Nora Corrigan
HIS 498 Special Topics: "Ireland in the Dark Ages" with Dr. Amber Handy

Excursions: Planned Class trips include Newgrange, Aran Islands, The Burren, Cliffs of Moher, a theater outing, museums, Trinity College Library, and other Dublin sites.

Cost: $5000* per student, which includes:

  • Round Trip Airfare
  • Housing in Dublin and Galway
  • Ground Transportation in Ireland
  • Travel Insurance
  • Tuition for two 3-credit courses
  • International Student Identity Card (ISIC)
  • Farewell Dinner
  • All Excursion Entrance Fees and Transportation

*This total is based on current projections and 10 students. The final total may be slightly different. We will inform you as quickly as possible about any confirmed changes.
