Senior Vice President for Administration & Chief Financial Officer
Nora Miller is the Senior Vice President for Administration and Chief Financial Officer at Mississippi University for Women. She received her Bachelor of Arts degrees in business administration and accounting from Mississippi University for Women and an MBA from Mississippi State University.
Nora has over 25 years experience in higher education, which includes her work at Mississippi Institutions of Higher Learning as Director of Budget and Financial Analysis and Director of Internal Audit; as Director of Accounting at Central Alabama Community College; and with the Mississippi State Auditors Office. She is a Certified Public Accountant.
Nora was recognized as one of Mississippi’s 50 Leading Business Women in 2005 by the Mississippi Business Journal. She has served as Treasurer of the National Alumni Association of Mississippi University for Women and on the Board of the Southern Association of Colleges and Universities Business Officers (SACUBO). Presently, Nora serves as Chair of the Board of the University Press of Mississippi and Past-President of the Town & Tower Club. She is a Paul Harris Fellow and a Past-President of the Rotary Club of Columbus. Nora is a member of the Columbus Air Force Base Community Council.
