PROGRAMMING AND TRAINING
As part of our commitment to prevent and address sexual misconduct, the University provides various training and programming throughout the year to educate and empower our campus and the community. This training and programming is in addition to the educational training that all new students and employees receive.
If you or your department or organization would like additional training relating to sexual misconduct, awareness and prevention, please contact the Title IX Coordinator. If your department or organization is sponsoring any awareness campaigns or providing similar educational programs, please contact the Title IX Coordinator so that the University can assist you and add your event to this year’s calendar.

"Girl, You Deserve Better" | 7:00 p.m. | Nissan Auditorium
It is hard to imagine an individual as accomplished as Christy Pickering, CPA, was once the victim of domestic abuse. The truth of the matter is domestic violence and abuse can happen to anyone, regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, or other factors, according to national statistics. Pickering, who has owned her own accounting firm for 25 years and currently serves on the Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning, will share her story with Mississippi University for Women’s campus Tuesday, Jan. 26 at 7 p.m. in Nissan Auditorium, Parkinson Hall. The event is free and open to the public.
