The MUW Alumni Association recently announced its three scholarship winners for the 2016-2017 school year.
This year’s Legacy Scholarship winner is Hannah Small from Houston, Texas. Small is an incoming freshman in business, planning to major in marketing or business management. The Legacy Scholarship is supported through the Long Blue Line Auction held each year during W Homecoming and is awarded to a student related to an alum based on a scholarship application.
Allie Burt of Philadelphia was awarded the Southern Grace Scholarship. Burt is a junior in the culinary arts program. The Southern Grace Scholarship is awarded to a deserving student majoring in culinary arts and named in honor of the alumnicreated Southern Grace Cookbook.
This year’s Culinary Arts Advisory Board Scholarship recipient is Taylor Greer of Clinton. Greer is a sophomore culinary arts major this year. Both this and the Southern Grace scholarship are funded through the sales of the Southern Grace Cookbook.
