Intramural Sports

The MUW Intramural Program offers a wide variety of individual, dual and team sport activities for women, men, and coed groups throughout the academic year.  Intramurals is a fun way to meet new people, become physically active and participate in friendly competition.  The atmosphere is informal to encourage participation for enjoyment of the activity rather than superior performance abilities.  Visit the Intramural Sports website.

Rec Fitness

Plymouth Bluff Center

  • Men's Soccer Victory Prevented at Oakwood
    HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The Owls men's soccer team played a tough match on Tuesday, Oct. 23 against Oakwood University. Despite the efforts in Tuesday's match, the Owls were unable to bring home a win, losing the match 3-2. With the loss, The W moves to 4-10-1 on the season.

  • Volleyball Defeats Lane in Three-Set Decision
    JACKSON, Tenn. – The Owls volleyball team defeated Lane College in a three set decision, 25-21, 25-22, 23-25, on Monday, Oct. 23 in J.F. Lane Gymnasium. With the victory, The W improves to 4-19 on the season while the Dragons fall to 4-22.
  • Owls Gain a 2-0 win over Pensacola Christian
    Pensacola, Fla. – The Owls men's soccer team defeated beyond efforts in the match against Pensacola Christian on Saturday, Oct. 20 in Pensacola, Fla. The Owls presented a victory against the Eagles, 2-0 improving its season record to 4-9-1.
  • Men's Cross Country Finishes 4th at Cougar Classic
    SMITH STATION, Ala. – The Owls men’s cross country team traveled to Smith Station, Ala. to compete in the 15th Annual Cougar Classic Cross Country Meet hosted by Columbus State University. The W participated in an early morning 8k to place fourth in the competition.
